ARRI NAC HI-MOTION HD SLOW MOTION CAMERA CHANNEL 600fps Fiber Channel Camera.

It was used for the BEIJING OLYMPIC and for other World Events like FIFA WORLD CUP SOCCER, RUGBY, GOLF, and also for the 2012 Isle of Man TT.

The Hi-Motion is a true high definition, high speed camera that can integrate directly into a multi-camera broadcast infrastructure. Developed by NAC Image Technology, the system is capable of recording images up to 600 frames per second with a true HDTV resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Fast-paced action can be slowed down by a factor of 6x or 12x at 300fps and 24x at 600fps to provide stunningly smooth slow-motion playback.

Images are captured by 3 state-of-the-art CMOS sensors and recorded to a solid-state memory (RAM) in the camera head, which provides 22 seconds at 300fps or 600fps. The uncompressed recording is available instantly for playback live-to-air, with no processing delay.

  • The Hi-Motion family of cameras are all full HD digital high-speed camera systems developed by NAC Image Technology for the Broadcast Television Industry. Since the original Hi-Motion was first introduced in 2005, 

    the system has been embraced by broadcasters and sports producers around the world, including the World Cup in 2006, Beijing 2008, Vancouver 2010 and then with 22 Hi-Motion II systems at the games in London in 2012, 

    3 Hi-Mo II at the Australian Open Tennis 2013-14-15 and 5 Hi-Mo II at the SuperBowl 2013. More recently at Sochi 2014 and in Brazil 2014 on the World Cup, at the Women's World Cup 2015 in Canada, the Asian Football Cup 2015 

    and the American Open Tennis.

    The excellent slo-motion images, (at up to 20 times slow down) of the Hi-Motion give sports producers and broadcasters dramatic images that show detail and emotion not seen before, that have been used to enhance the coverage 

    and understanding of many sports.

    The ease of integration within the standard Outside Broadcast workflow and ease of operation both for the Camera Operator and the Record/Replay operator have led to the rapid acceptance of the Hi-Motion cameras

    as another part of the Producer and Directors tool kit in telling the story of the match.

    The Hi-Motion has several unique features among the competing Ultra Slo-Motion Cameras; the Hi-Motion Cameras are the only with 3 sensor technology, the same as all mainline broadcast cameras; Hi-Motion has the industry

    standard B4 lens mount so that all of a Broadcasters or Facilities existing HD lenses can be used, without the need for adaptors or modification.
